Over the past 25 years, it has been our pleasure to sell 2nd, third and even fourth homes to those of you wanting a home for getaways, business vacations, etc. Most of those homes have been in Del Mar, La Jolla and Laguna Beach. But recently, we've become involved in the redevelopment of Mission Beach where the pricing is moderate for cutting edge beach front homes.
Whether for investment, business, fun and/or possible retirement, San Diego has been a favorite location since the 1940's when sailors were stationed here for training. Kathy and I have discovered Mission Beach as an untapped area for luxury condos or detached homes. Anything comparable in La Jolla would be on a bluff top for $10 million and in Del Mar a spot on the beach starts at $12 million.
